- 날씨가 좋다고 해요. — They say the weather is nice.
- 어디 가냐고 물어봤어요. — (He) asked where I was going.
- 빨리 오라고 했어요. — (She) told me to come quickly.
- 같이 먹자고 했어요. — (He) suggested eating together.
Past: -았/었다고: 갔다고 했어요. Contracted in speech: 간대요 (= 간다고 해요), 좋대요, 오래요. "Give me" commands use 달라고: 물을 달라고 했어요 — (He) asked for water.
