Er is / er zijn
To say something exists somewhere, use er is (singular) or er zijn (plural):
- Er is een bakker in de straat. — There is a baker in the street.
- Er zijn veel fietsen. — There are a lot of bikes.

Gaan + naar = go to: Ik ga naar het station. Bij = at (someone's place / a shop): bij de bakker.
